This message is difficult to write. On December 28th, 2025, TotalShield lost a founder, and the world lost a great engineer and a wonderful man, whose dedication and vision laid the foundation for everything TotalShield represents today.
Keith Snyder founded TotalShield in 2002 after a 21-year career at Sandia National Laboratories. He worked for 20 years designing, developing, and innovating a line of products to protect people from injury in dangerous industries.
Keith worked with his wife Marcie in TotalShield as partners. They were a husband-and-wife team that reminded me of how I worked with my wife, Laila, in our business. When I met them in 2021, I was immediately struck by their warm and fun relationship.
I was also impressed with their integrity. They were completely honest. They were uncompromising in their dedication to safety.
When I purchased TotalShield in December 2021, I could not have asked for a better transaction. Everything they represented was correct and true. Keith and Marcie were beyond helpful: They were generous with their time in training new staff and teaching my team a highly technical subject. They made sure TotalShield customers were cared for and never experienced an interruption.
We enjoyed working with each other, and we extended our partnership to the present day. Keith never stopped being an enthusiastic supporter and consultant to TotalShield.
Sadly, Keith passed away last month. Our team lost not only an unparalleled engineering talent but also a good friend. Keith brought optimism and humor to every meeting and every interaction, and we are all going to miss him. His impact will continue to be felt through the work we do and the standards we uphold.
Thank you, Keith, for everything.
Sincerely, Adam Rossi
